The situation in Antwerp does not look rosy. The weekly average says 52 people test positive for Covid-19 every day. That is an increase of no less than 171 percent. The provincial Crisis Cell is currently meeting with Governor Cathy Berx to discuss a soft lockdown and possibly shrink the bubble. It is not yet clear how big the bubble may be, but it would in any case be a fixed bubble instead of a weekly change. It is also possible to register who is in which bubble.
Due to the rapidly increasing number of new infections in the province, the Antwerp crisis consultation is now organized almost as regularly as during the start of the corona crisis, when it was an almost daily practice.
