The Marc Seguí of colorful imagery and pop songs of the Pinta y colorea style returns. The singer inaugurated a new era in his discography at the beginning of summer with the release of 5 stars and has opened a new chapter with the publication of a second single, Mariposas, which features the surprising collaboration of Pablo Alborán.
“It is one of the releases that I have enjoyed the most. Regardless of the fact that the numbers are doing much better than I thought, Mariposas is a song to which we have dedicated a lot of love and time,” says the one from Mallorca in his latest interview with LOS40, emphasizing the friendship relationship that has been born between Pablo Alborán and him. “It had nothing to do with us being in the same company. The collaboration emerged in a beautiful and natural way. Collaborations have to emerge and be born like this. Doing collaborations through companies is more artificial. Pablo is everything I would want to be one day. “I would like to be like him and maintain the values as he has maintained them.”
Maybe at the stream level it has reached fewer people, but those who follow my project rate ‘AAAAAA’
Marc Seguí released a darker EP, AAAAAA, because at that time he felt the need to tell about a complicated period in his life. “The other day I listened to the album again and I feel very proud of that work. Maybe at the stream level it has reached fewer people, but those who follow my project value it,” explains the singer. “I have overcome that stage and now the colorful Marc from before returns, with more experience and maturity. The album that is coming now talks about beautiful things, but I think that to be fair to my audience and to myself I have to talk about all the stages.”

In this interview with LOS40, the artist also acknowledges that he does not enjoy music the same as before. “Before he made music with a friend in a room in Mallorca. There were no expectations or pressure,” he says. “I’m never going to have that again. Maybe when my career is over and I’m home I’ll have that freedom again.” Also, to finish, Marc talks about the effect that having a certain status has had on him and all the exposure that precisely that status has given him. “The comments bothered me too much at first. I would bring up a topic, read ten good comments and one bad one, and stay with the bad one. It plays tricks to have so many people giving their opinion about you and what you do. “I’ve had a pretty bad time with that topic.”
