The news came as a shock to many, messages of support multiplied on the web, the day after the incident. the Sunday, May 22, 2022, Marc-Philippe Daubresse and his wife Brigitte Astruc-Daubresse have had a serious road accident, in the Côte d’Or. The northern politician has announced his possible return to Lille (North) this Friday, May 27.
A collision on the highway with a motorhome
This Monday, May 23, the City of Lambersart, of which Marc-Philippe Daubresse was mayor, sent a message of support to the two victims of a serious road accident, which occurred the day before on a Côte d’Or motorway.
A collision between a car and a motorhome on the A31, indicated the Journal of Haute-Marne. The voice of the North revealed the identity of two of the victims, aboard the car involved: Senator LR and his wife.
Many politicians reacted to wish a speedy recovery to the two public figures admitted to CH Dijon, on social networks. Saint André Councilor and National Councilor LR Sébastien Leblanc had taken it upon himself to report the news, saying the two were suffering from broken bones.
Repatriated to Lille this Friday
On his Twitter account, on Wednesday May 25, the senator expressed its thanks to those who showed them their concern : “Thank you to all the friends who showed their support and their sympathy after the terrible accident that we suffered, Brigitte and I”, he wrote. He says his wife’s tibia operation went well.
And announces: “For my part, I should be repatriated to the Lille CHR on Friday. Thanks again to everyone “.
