Marc Marquez’s Rescue Gives Jonathan Rea a Podium in the WSBK Race

BOLASPORT.COM – World Superbike Racers (WSBK) from Northern Ireland, Jonathan Rea, claimed to be lucky to be able to finish the first race in Misano after almost falling off his motorbike.

Jonathan Rea finished third, behind di Michael Rinaldi and Toprak Razgatlioglu, in the race which took place on Saturday (12/6/2021).

Quoted from Crash, Rea finished 5.104 seconds slower than the winner of the race.

Before finishing in third place, Rea actually had a great chance of winning the first WBSK race Misano 2021 because he occupies pole position.

However, a mistake made by Rea in the middle of the race cost the Kawasaki racer a heavy price.

Instead of overtaking Rinaldi, who had overtaken his position since the start of the race, Rea went down one line after being passed by Razgatlioglu.

Although he could only finish third, Rea said he was very lucky.
