JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Marc Marquez got the green light to test Ducati Desmosedici GP23 with his new team, Gresini Racing. Seeing the test results, Honda admitted that they were not surprised.
Marquez managed to become the fourth fastest racer in six you Valencia MotoGP 2024. He recorded the fastest time with 1 minute 29.424 seconds. Only 0.171 seconds behind Maverick Vinales who is in first place.

In this test session, Marquez is known to have done 49 laps. Unfortunately, he was only allowed to test the motorbike. Marquez has not been permitted to comment publicly regarding the results of the test session or his comments about Ducati.

Team Manager Repsol Honda Alberto Puigsaid he was not at all surprised to see the results of the test session that Marquez conducted with Ducati.
“What do people expect? That is quite clear to us. We know the riders and we can see the potential of other motorbikes (Ducati). We are not surprised at all,” said Puig, quoted from Crash.netWednesday (29/11/2023).

Temporary, Luca Marini who replaced Marquez at Repsol Honda was in tenth position. Valentino Rossi’s younger brother recorded the fastest time with 1 minute 29.956 seconds.
Marini was the fastest Honda rider in the Valencia test session. His teammate, Joan Mir, is in 13th position. Johann Zarco, who has just joined LCR Honda, is in 17th position and his teammate, Takaaki Nakagami, is in 21st position.
