Marc Marquez Immersed in FP3 MotoGP Netherlands 2021, Effects of Previous Accidents? : Okezone Sports

SHAFTS – Free practice session 3 (FP3) MotoGP The Netherlands 2021 at the Assen Circuit, Saturday (26/6/2021), afternoon WIB, did not end well for the Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez. The Baby Alien-Marquez’s nickname- was only able to seal the 15th position.

In fact, Marquez’s performance was quite good in the previous two free practice sessions which took place yesterday, Friday, June 25, 2021. In free practice session 2, Marquez even sealed the fourth position.

However, in free practice session 2, Marquez also experienced terrible things. If free practice session 1 takes place in sunny weather, free practice session 2 is raining. This increases the risk of falling for all racers.

An unpleasant incident also happened to Marquez at Turn 10. The Spaniard bounced off his motorbike before falling onto the asphalt quite hard, then dragged into the gravel of Turn 11.

Judging by the height of Marquez’s body, many people are worried about The Baby Alien who is still having problems with his right arm and shoulder. Even so, Marquez is fine so he can return to the Honda garage.

Before appearing in the 3rd free practice session, Marquez had time to complain about his accident. He demanded Honda to make repairs because such an accident could reduce the confidence of the rider.

“We need to improve. To be safer. Not for the future, but for the next race,” said Marquez Crash, Saturday (26/6/2021).

“Otherwise, it will be impossible to be confident and be fast again. If we wanted to race, we couldn’t have had an accident like this.”

“This accident takes a lot of confidence because you don’t know when you’re going to fall again in that style. They (Honda) have checked some things, some parameters that are not completely normal in such corners,” said the Spaniard.

When appearing in free practice session 3, Marquez may still remember his accident yesterday. As a result, the 28-year-old racer failed to bring out the best in his abilities.

Marquez can’t be down for too long because he has been waiting for the 4th free practice session and qualifying tonight. Marquez must achieve good results to make it easier for him in the 2021 Dutch MotoGP race at the Assen Circuit, Sunday 27 June 2021, night WIB.
