Gigi did not clearly answer whether the Ducati Desmosedici was suitable for Marquez. But what is clear is that this motorbike has succeeded in leading a rider to become champion.

Gigi further explained that Marquez would start with the motorbike used by Johann Zarco at the end of the season. The reason is, several components have been installed on the motorbikes of Enea Bastianini, Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin for testing. On the other hand, Gigi believes that Marquez will contribute to the future development of Ducati motorbikes like other riders.
“I listen to all the riders and don’t lean towards just one rider because that would be a mistake. The most important thing is to develop the bike. I’m sure that if the bike has problems that are not from the factory rider and I try to solve them, the factory rider can also be faster on the track.
