Marc-Marie, for example, tells Aaf Brandt Corstius, with whom he makes the podcast, the following: “Anyway, so I participated and lasted four times And we just had a riot with Caroline van der Plasthat she had said something that had been cut out and thought it was silly. And they also cut something out of me that I really didn’t like very much, to be honest,” Marc-Marie begins his story.
The prankster himself has been a jury member for the Belgian version for a number of years and wondered aloud during the recordings why Maarten van Rossem, jury member in the Dutch version, is occasionally concerned about the Belgian version. “He always acts a little childish,” explains Marc-Marie. “While I think, if you have a very successful program, like he has, you can be a little generous. And just say, ‘It’s a nice program too’, because they’re just two different programs. That’s what I said . Cut them all out.”

Marc-Marie thinks it’s silly that they cut it out afterwards: “Because I thought: ‘It’s a bit strange that I sit there and don’t say anything about the Belgian version.'”
Aaf thinks it probably has to do with the fact that a lot is recorded during the recordings, but not everything can be broadcast due to time constraints: “The recordings take much longer than such an episode.”
Finally, Marc-Marie does let you know that he really liked his participation, despite missing some quotes during the broadcasts: “I really liked it. I really liked Maarten and Philip and I liked the atmosphere in the studio and had a good time.” The conversation is here to listen back.

Marc-Marie was recently in the news because he was attacked on the street. He was punched in the face after he got into a fight with two traffic users in Amsterdam. What exactly happened and how it ended, read back here.
