Talk shows often use regular guests for recognizability and because someone fits well with a program. This is how Marc-Marie is regularly with Jinek in Beau† It is of course remarkable that Özcan has difficulty with this. He can be found on a talk show even more often than ADcolumnist Angela de Jong, Marc-Marie agrees. “Eus is really everywhere himself. He just comes by train. He doesn’t need to know in advance where he is going. He just comes if he can write a small bill. For 12.50 euros you have Eus in your program. Bee HLF8Bee VIBee Khalid&SophieBee Jinek and with Beau† He’s just everywhere,” says the comedian in his podcast Marc-Marie & Aaf Find Something.

Then Marc-Marie makes it personal. “I think it’s so cute, because that’s what he’s talking about with those dead eyes. There’s something about that.” Aaf Brandt Corstius adds: “With those dead eyes you can’t really see what’s going on inside.” To which Marc-Marie delivers the final blow: “I don’t think that much is going on there either, but okay.”

Actually, Marc-Marie didn’t want to let herself go that way in the podcast. “I think this is way too much. I actually didn’t want to do all of this. I actually wanted to say: really nice and moving. I think you are great. No matter how he continues to live in Enschede, or wherever he lives.” But it still bothered the comedian. “I can’t stand injustice very well. If I meet him myself, he’s a slime ball.”

Marc-Marie explains why he often accepts the invitations of the RTL talk shows. “I sit alone with Eva or with Beau, otherwise I always cancel everything. I like to sit with Eva and Beau. I like to make those two laugh and I have something with them. I’m nowhere. You certainly shouldn’t whine if you’re him (Özcan, ed.).”
