Norderstedt – Last weekend he had to FC Eintracht Norderstedt suffered a defeat for the first time under the leadership of coach Jean-Pierre Richter. They lost 0-2 against FC St.Pauli II, despite some great chances. Ersin Zehir missed the best with a penalty. Now they received it Bremer SV, with whom they still had a score to settle. In the first leg, Segeberger lost 5:6 deep into stoppage time. It was a wild game on the Panzenberg. But things should be much quieter in the second leg.
Where is the opponent?
The lack of determination from the last game should be better this time and the goal was to be at least one goal better than the guests. But first the question was asked: Where is the enemy anyway? They were stuck in a traffic jam in front of the Elbe tunnel and arrived a little later than planned, but kick-off still took place promptly at 7:30 p.m. Coach Richter changed his team by one position. Juri Marxen started for Dane Kummerfeld. Jonas Behounek and Kangmin Choi were not there due to illness.
Good chances in the first minutes
The game was three minutes old and things immediately became dangerous for FCE. After Bölter shot his teammate, the ball came to Nils Brüning. This called for the former Phönix Lübeck goalkeeper Andrea Hoxha to make his first strong save. Eintracht got into the game really well and played forward, but again they weren’t determined enough. Nevertheless, it was a good opening phase for the hosts.
The game then sputtered along before Bremer SV became more active. The guests were now the team that dominated the game, but without becoming dangerous against the compact Norderstedters. In terms of play, it was a rather manageable level, but there were plenty of duels. With the half-time whistle, Norderstedt had a great chance to take the lead after all. The ball landed at Selutin, who inaccurately brought the ball towards the goal. Prinz von Anhalt then failed from close range. So a rather manageable first half ended with no goals. Bremer SV had more of the ball, but the home team had more and better chances. The initial phase was encouraging, but then things got difficult. Little danger of scoring
After the page change it was initially an unchanged picture. Both teams were not determined enough in front of goal. Again and again the last pass didn’t arrive. There were few chances to score and the almost 150 spectators were happy about every ball that went in the direction of the goal. This was the case when Gueye shot past from the edge of the penalty area and Bölter from 30 meters. It was often Ersin Zehir who shone with his strong overview. This was also the case in the 82nd minute when he saw Kummerfeld. Two players missed his cross in the middle, and then Bölter missed the ball significantly. The final minutes began and Norderstedt put the pressure on. They wanted the win, pushed the guests, who were supported by almost 40 fans, into the back and finally had chances to score. First, Winkler was denied by Hoxha from a tight angle. Zehir had the best chance of the second half in stoppage time. The former professional from FC St.Pauli and VfB Lübeck shot from 17 meters, but the visiting goalkeeper directed the ball over the crossbar. After a corner, Bölter got the ball, but Bremen cleared just before the line. The game ended goalless on Wednesday evening. Dress rehearsal before the duel with the Eagles
For Eintracht it was another point for staying in the league. Thanks to SSV Jeddeloh II’s clear 4-0 defeat against Havelse, they gained one point. The next home game awaits FC Eintracht Norderstedt on Sunday. They receive blue and white wages. They are currently in a bit of a crisis and could easily slip into the bottom. A victory would be extremely important for the Richter team. Because then the topic of the relegation battle would be as good as ticked off. They will also be playing at 1. FC Phönix Lübeck a week later.
