Saturday evening the new ‘Marble mania’ will start on VTM. The flag covers the charge: familiar faces compete against each other in a game of marbles. K3 may bite off the striker. And the ladies want all three to win. “It’s done”, it sounds from Julia’s mouth. “K3 stops.”

However childish the concept may sound, the originally Dutch Marble mania was a hit with our northern neighbors. How does it work? Three players (each with their own color) embark on nine rounds. Four of them revolve around locomotion, timing and agility. In those games, the candidates can actively sabotage each other’s marbles. The four lucky rounds are all about speed, gravity and – well – good luck. Then follows the grand final round. All marble runs have an adapted decor. Those who already saw the trailer could already see constructions in the form of a jungle, a luna park and even the Efteling pass.

Kürt Rogiers places the Lego blocks of Lego masters stands aside and takes over the presentation, comedian Kamal Kharmach provides the whole with commentary. The girls of K3 bite the striker on Saturday evening. And all three appear to be quite eager to win.
