Furthermore, he added that, as is traditional, there will be an offer for the adult public (at 8:00 p.m.) and another for the family (at 6:00 p.m.), “always seeking to get children interested in the performing arts from a very early age.”
The municipal official has indicated, with respect to the first case, that ‘The comedy of errors’by Shakespeare, “is directed by a great, Andrés Lima, who has the National Theater Award and has been to the Mérida Festival.”
Likewise, he highlighted that on May 25th the ‘The Miser by Moliere’“a masterpiece by the French playwright and with a novel staging, which corresponds to one of the most distinguished Andalusian companies, Atalaya, and which has nothing to do with what we have usually seen in this work,” Díaz indicated.
Other notable proposals will be ‘The Gardener’s Dogon May 3, which will be performed by the company Paco Mir, formerly of the group Tricicle, and ‘Tenessee’, on the occasion of World Theater Day (March 22).
“It is a Spanish Theater production, with a great quality of staging,” he explained, while stating that “we are also going to have a risky, but very important, contemporary theater proposal, ‘The public’, by Federico García Lorca. It is made by the Teatro Clásico de Sevilla and has won 6 Lorca 2023 Awards.
