47 times the dream grade of “very good” – the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Hanau-Gelnhausen-Schlüchtern and its President Oliver Naumann can be particularly proud. Naumann and other guests of honor will honor the IHK test winners from the Main-Kinzik district on Wednesday, October 30th.

47 graduates celebrated their excellent exam results in the Bruchköbel town hall. That is four percent of all 1,170 examinees who took the 2023/24 winter exam and the 2024 summer exam with a grade of “very good”. Entertainment was provided by the moving’ freaks from Gelnhausen, who performed a humorous, acrobatic dance performance between speeches.

Great success in an “Olympic year”

From B for draftsman to V for saleswoman – Miriam Fuchs, head of the vocational training department, warmly welcomes the top performers in the exam. Oliver Naumann welcomes the top performers with the words: “You managed to complete your final exam very well with the dream grade – and that in a year that is characterized by sporting ambition and outstanding achievements – an Olympic year.” The graduates not only managed the 100 meter sprint, they mastered the marathon of training with flying colors without getting out of breath along the way.

Behind all the hard work, discipline and endurance that not only the Olympians have to demonstrate at the Olympic Games, but also this year’s top performers, there is a team that challenges and supports you. Naumann would like to say a big thank you to the families of the graduates who act as their first coaches in life. “Without your personal “team of trainers” at home, some hurdles would probably have been much more difficult to overcome.”

Investment in the future

He also thanks all the training companies and their trainers who have created the framework conditions in which top performance can emerge. Investing in the future by encouraging young people and supporting them on their path to success pays off. Naumann appeals to all companies that are not yet training or are desperately looking for applicants to keep looking – training is worth it. The volunteer examiners from the IHK Hanau-Gelnhausen-Schlüchtern have ensured that all examination performances are objectively assessed and recognized – just as referees in sports ensure fair and orderly competition. “Without our examiners, the German training system would be unthinkable. Thank you for your commitment,” said Naumann.

Not only the grade “very good” but also the best in the country in 2024

Naumann uses his speech to give the best people the following advice for the rest of their lives: “Always keep your knowledge up to date, continually expand your skills, gain professional and life experience: you will be able to use both. Shy Don’t be afraid to take new paths and question what already exists, develop your own ideas and have the courage and persistence to make them a reality.”

This was followed by the awarding of the best and the best in the country by IHK President Naumann, IHK General Manager Dr. Gunther Quidde and Miriam Fuchs, head of the vocational training department. Five of the 47 A+ graduates can not only be happy about the “very good” grade, they are also among the best in the state in 2024 within their training occupations. These are: Chemical laboratory assistant, Inessa Schröder from Umicore AG & Co. KG from Hanau; Koch, Jan Iwanitzky from Evonik Catering Service GmbH from Hanau; Media technologist printing, Aaron Metz from Druck- und Pressehaus Naumann GmbH & Co. KG from Gelnhausen as well as process mechanic glass technology, Richard Rokkel from Heraeus Quartzglas GmbH & Co. KG from Hanau and process technologist metal, Jonas Euler from Heraeus Amloy Technologies GmbH, also from Hanau. (mis/pm) +++
