New in a double pack from Nettetal: The manufacturer Marantz presents with the Integrated amplifier Marantz PM6007 and the CD-Player Marantz CD6007 two classic hi-fi components with a down-to-earth price tag.
The amplifier Marantz PM6007 does 60 watts per channel at 4 ohms and comes with five analog (4 x high level, 1 x phono MM) and three digital (1 x coaxial, 2 x optical) inputs. For converting the digital signals, Marantz relies on the well-known and high-quality AK4490 from AKM, which offers several filter modes for fine-tuning the sound.
Two pairs of loudspeakers including the A / B switching function can be connected. The amplifier circuit is with current negative feedback and Marantz’s own HDAM-SA3 technology equipped, which should bring a high bandwidth, a comprehensive dynamic range and just as much attention to detail.

The Marantz CD6007 CD player – it also has the AK4490 – not only plays CDs and CD-R / RW via the USB-A-Eingang Music files can also be read from storage media on the front, the player “understands” the formats WAV, MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF and DSD, among others. Up to a maximum 192 kHz/24 Bit and DSD 5,6 MHz. On top of that there is a fully discreet one Headphone amplifier with impedance control and automatic switch-off function. A system remote control, with which the PM6007 can also be operated, is included in the scope of delivery. An external DAC can be connected via the optical and coaxial digital output. However, a computer cannot be connected directly: apart from the USB port for storage media, there are no digital inputs.
Both devices are off beginning of September available – in black or silver-gold.
