During the pandemic, unsuspecting music lovers, the parents of three children – Ronja, Ezra Klava and Hannah – experienced the most difficult test in their more than ten-year marriage. The family fought for the health of their offspring while the little boy was in the hospital for eight months, during which time he experienced a wide range of emotions – hopes and expectations, sadness and sorrow, and faith.
A big event, a real celebration, was when after several months of treatment, the offspring of musicians was discharged from the hospital.
Then, through social networks, Māra described what had happened and her feelings: “Ringing out! The call video doesn’t look right, but we called our checkout. The three sisters who were present at the time applauded Ezra. Applause from the bottom of my heart for each of them and for all the Chapter 10 staff who took care of us at this time. The children’s hospital was our second home for eight months. We hoped and believed that this day would come one day. And yet at the same time so incredible that it really is here! Ezra is the strongest and bravest guy in the world. I am infinitely proud of him. Just like I am proud of our whole family. The diagnosis of leukemia still remains, a maintenance course with home medication for another year and a half. But we are celebrating this day because we are sure the craziest behind us. The inscription on the wall at home – Ezra healthy! We want to encode this in our consciousness. And Ezra let everyone tell it! ”
