Map of France Coronavirus: vulnerable departments, France in a state of health emergency, second confinement

Data on the coronavirus situation in France continues to be closely monitored. More and more departments are once again becoming areas of vigilance due to the active circulation of the virus. This Monday, November 23, 2020, 87.7% of intensive care beds are occupied in France. 100 departments are in a situation of high vulnerability, all of France is in a state of health emergency. The country is in lockdown again until December 1, 2020, at least.

Regarding the development of the situation Monday 23 November, there is 4,452 new confirmed cases : 3,600 cases confirmed by positive RT-PCR and 24h et 852 cases confirmed by antigen test. There is therefore in total at least 2 144 660 people affected by Coronavirus since the start of the epidemic in France. There is, this November 23, 2020,12,898 new people hospitalized these last 7 days in France, including 1,946 new patients who were admitted in intensive care. 501 people are deceased in France since the last assessment is 49 232 total deaths of which 33 945 (+501) in the hospital and 15,287 in nursing homes.

At November 20, 2020, the incidence rate, i.e. the number of patients having a test Positive RT-PCR per 100,000 inhabitants per week was still declining and amounted to 158. The R, representing the average number of people infected by every person with COVID-19, it is also declining 0.65 November 14. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds in France is 87.7% as of 23 November 2020. 13.3% of tests carried out in France are positive over the last 7 days.

  • Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur: 97.6 %
  • Hauts de France: 105,5 %
  • Bourgogne – Franche-Comté: 127,8 %
  • Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: 139,4 %

But also :

  • Meeting: 28.8%
  • Guadeloupe : 25,9 %
  • Martinique : 65,4 %
  • Mayotte: 66,7%

The entire France is reconfigured for a period of at least 4 weeks since Friday, October 30, 2020.
