We continue to closely monitor the data concerning the coronavirus situation in France. More and more departments are once again becoming areas of vigilance due to the active circulation of the virus. This Monday, May 31, 2021, 58.22% of intensive care beds are occupied in France.

Regarding the development of the situation Monday, May 31, 2021, there is +1.211 new confirmed cases. There is therefore in total at least 5.667.324 people affected by coronavirus since the start of the epidemic in France. +126 people died in France since the last report, either 109,528 deaths in total dont 83,116 (+126) in the hospital and 26,412 (0) in Ehpad. 25,439,848 people have received at least a first dose of vaccine against covid-19 in France.

At Friday, May 28, 2021, the incidence rate, i.e. the number of patients having a test RT-PCR positive per 100,000 inhabitants per week amounted to 93,3. The R, representing the average number of people infected by every person with COVID-19, is 0,88. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds in France (calculated on the total number of beds available at the start of the pandemic) is 58,22 % dated Monday, May 31, 2021. 2,38 % of tests carried out in France are positive over the last 7 days.

We count, this Monday, May 31, 2021, 16.596 (-179) people hospitalized in France including 2.945 (-48) in intensive care.
