The increase in the number of registered infections is slowing down, but in large parts of our country the corona map is turning blood red. See below how badly your municipality has been affected.

The map below shows the number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants per municipality in the previous two weeks: the redder, the more infections registered in the last 14 days. Since the beginning of September, the federal health institute Sciensano no longer distributes figures for the last 7 days but for the last 14 days. That would give a more stable picture.
What is immediately noticeable is that, especially below the language border, a large part of our country turns blood red. A large oil slick is spreading from the major cities of Brussels and Liège. What’s more, the Brussels Region is one of the top ten most affected regions in Europe. It should only precede a number of French areas, the Amsterdam metropolitan area and the British city of Liverpool.
