On September 30, Manzhouli Station celebrated the 10th anniversary of the China-Europe train. In the past ten years, a total of 22,000 China-Europe freight trains have passed through, transporting 2.12 million TEUs of goods, accounting for about 30% of the country’s port traffic. Over the past ten years, Harbin Bureau Group Corporation has promoted the number of trains operating year by year, enriched the types of goods, and doubled the value of transported goods by continuously improving the operation guarantee mechanism of trains and improving the transportation capacity of port stations. The grand blueprint of the “One Belt, One Road” has been drawn from “general freehand brushwork” to precise and delicate “meticulous painting” step by step, forming a logistics network that connects Asia and Europe. Currently, the Manzhouli Railway Port can reach 13 countries including Russia, Poland, Germany, and Belgium, and inbound trains mainly reach 60 domestic cities including Harbin, Shenyang, Xi’an, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, and Chengdu. The number of traffic lines has increased from 1 in the initial stage to 20, and the goods have expanded from electrical products to 12 major categories such as daily necessities, industrial machinery, metals, agricultural and sideline products, and wood. Manzhouli Station started with one train per month and now has more than 13 trains every day. From more than 40 trains throughout the year at the beginning of its opening, to the current average of more than 400 trains per month, the annual traffic has exceeded 4,500 trains. With the in-depth implementation of the national “One Belt, One Road” initiative and the continuous implementation of the “consolidation-to-consolidation” transportation model by the railway department, the role of the Manzhouli Railway Port Channel has become increasingly prominent. The capacity expansion and renovation project of the Manzhouli Station International Cargo Yard was successfully completed. The daily container transloading volume increased from 420 TEU to 840 TEU, doubling the transloading capacity. The electrification transformation of Binzhou Railway was successfully completed, and the construction of the rear passage at the port was gradually improved. Innovating a new delivery model of “wide-gauge and heavy-gauge” international intermodal transport has effectively improved the efficiency of import and export cargo transportation. Manzhouli Station is the first in the country to use the 95306 “digital port” to achieve “paperless customs clearance” at the port. The time from declaration to customs release has been shortened from about half a day to less than 30 minutes, and the fastest is only a few minutes. The locomotives going abroad have been upgraded from diesel locomotives to harmonious high-power locomotives. The new locomotives have a towing weight of 6,000 tons, ending the history of adding extra engines for over-tons. Optimize the productivity layout of the port station area, focus on the port in terms of transportation capacity and direction, and create conditions for port transportation organization. Establish a regular meeting and communication mechanism with the “Belt and Road” co-building countries to ensure the smooth flow of ports.
