HFMD stands for Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. HFMD is also known as the Singapore flu which generally attacks children.

In the medical world, the Singapore flu is known as Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD).
HFMD is a disease caused by a virus of the Enterovirus genus.
The most common enterovirus species that cause HFMD are Coxsackievirus and Human Enterovirus 71 (HEV 71).
