Corona infections increased at the weekend: Numerous students in Freiburg and in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district have to stay at home as a precaution.
Over the holiday weekend, the number of cases of corona infections continued to rise. The district office of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald reported 55 new cases since Friday on Monday morning. Of these, 22 were in the city of Freiburg and 33 in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district. Since there are students among the infected, hundreds of other students and a number of teachers are currently staying at home as possible contacts as a precaution. In Titisee-Neustadt, face-to-face teaching is currently completely suspended at a school.
