Behind top candidate Mayor Klaus Luger there are exactly twelve women and twelve men in the next 24 places. The average age is under 45 years. Almost all city regions have representatives on this list.
Luger remains the top candidate
City councilor Regina Fechter and parliamentary group chairman Stefan Giegler are running for second and third place behind Luger. Then there are two new candidates: the teacher Anna Weghuber in fourth place and the restaurateur Harald Katzmayr in fifth.
Most of the candidates were confirmed with over 90 percent approval, and the delegates also unanimously accepted the election manifesto of the SPÖ Linz.
