Amsterdam – Due to rising energy costs, many healthcare providers are in danger of ending up in the red next year, according to an analysis by ABN Amro. Compared to 2019, the energy costs of the total healthcare sector are expected to rise by €472 million to €1.1 billion this year. And next year even by 740 million to 1.4 billion euros.
