Many foreigners held these stocks when the JCI fell in session I, Monday (25/1)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) fell 1.39% or cut 87.40 points to the level of 6,219.72 in trading session I, Monday (25/1). JCI opened slightly higher at the level of 6,322.52 and moved in the range 6,148.30 – 6,322.72 in session I.

Citing RTI data, all sectors plummet. The various industrial sectors fell the most, followed by the plantation, construction, mining, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Each decreased 3.87%, 2.56%, 2.55%, 2.18%, 1.73% and 1.53%.

The total volume of stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reached 11.31 billion with a transaction value of IDR 10.56 trillion. A total of 367 stocks fell, 81 stocks rose and 158 shares flat.

Foreign investors posted net buy or net sales of Rp 35.94 billion in all markets.

Foreigners are recorded to have collected the most shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) Rp. 122.6 billion. BBRI shares also edged up 0.21% to Rp 4,730 per share. BBRI’s share trading volume reached 80.4 million with a transaction value of IDR 380.4 billion.

Foreigners are also hunting for shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 49.2 billion. However, BMRI shares edged down 0.35% to Rp 7,175 per share. BMRI’s share trading volume reached 31.8 million with a transaction value of Rp 227.9 billion.

PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper tbk shares (INKP) also collected by foreigners amounting to Rp 23.0 billion. INKP shares also rose 2.69% to Rp 13,350 per share. INKP’s share trading volume reached 6.8 million with a transaction value of IDR 89.9 billion.
