“Many fake targets”: the Russian military could access the control systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian Armed Forces have apparently gained access to Ukrainian tactical command and control systems “Krapiva” and “Virazh-tablet”, Ukrainian resources report. According to them, recently many fake targets that do not really exist have appeared in these systems.

Ukrainian analysts suggest that the Russian Armed Forces have gained access to these software resources and are deliberately “cluttering” the battlefield to confuse the enemy . This forces the Ukrainian air defense and other units to be active and “shine” themselves, followed by a missile or air strike.

The tactical level combat control system “Nettle” is software for creating situational maps. In combination with tools and instruments, it is a hardware and software center for the collection, analysis and processing of various information for intelligence units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine.

At the same time, the Virage-Tablet is used by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The system provides real-time data on air conditions. Information from combat radars of anti-aircraft systems, radio engineering troops and control towers get there.

Thanks to the system, air defense teams and teams quickly get the type of target, course and altitude of their flight, and air defense systems with MANPADS teams turn to the desired azimuth and wait to the target entering the affected area, still invisible. the enemy almost until they were launched.
