If the triangle sign points to the right, it means that the tank is also on the right. On the other hand, if the arrow is on the left, it means the tank is on the left.
Knowing the position of this tank is quite important, especially if the car you are driving is not yours. You also don’t have to bother getting out of the car to confirm the position of the tank.
