Many countries in the world strongly criticized it and even cut diplomatic relations with it Israel the impact of aggression on Gaza, Palestine.
Israel carried out aggression on Gaza after Hamas, which controls the territory, carried out an attack on October 7 that killed around 1,400 Israelis and took 240 hostages.
However, Israel’s aggression against Gaza caused more casualties. More than 9,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, adding to the long list of victims in the territory besieged by Israel for decades.
Israel also blocked fuel supplies to Gaza, leaving communities and hospitals in the Gaza Strip without electricity.
Apart from that, Israel also carried out attacks on refugee camps and ambulances carrying out medical convoys. This is considered a violation of humanitarian law.

Bolivia
Bolivia decided to cut diplomatic relations with Israel on November 1, 2023. Bolivia’s Minister of the Presidency, Maria Nela Prada, felt that Israel had committed war crimes.
“We demand an end to the attacks on the Gaza Strip which have so far claimed thousands of civilian lives and led to the forced displacement of Palestinians.” Prada said.
Colombia
Colombian President Gustavo Petro tweeted at X and condemned Israel’s attack on Gaza. He considered that this aggression was an act of mass murder against the Palestinian population.
Not only that, he also compared the Israeli military to the Nazis and this act of aggression to the Auschwitz concentration camp which is a dark history of the Jewish community.
This statement was harsh from Colombia, which has long been known as the strongest ally of the United States in the Latin American region. The US itself is known to be a close ally of Israel.
Chile
Shortly after Bolivia, their South American neighbor, Chile also recalled its ambassador to Israel and protested against the aggression and the skyrocketing death toll of Palestinian civilians.
“I have summoned our ambassador in Tel Aviv to discuss the unacceptable violence in light of international humanitarian law,” said Chilean President Gabriel Boric.
“Israel’s military aggression represents collective punishment against the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza,” said Boric, quoted from The Guardian.
