(NEWSManagers.com) – Manulife Investment Management, the management arm of the eponymous Canadian insurer, announced a series of appointments to its bond management teams in Asia and the United States. Endre Pedersen, until now Deputy Director, has been promoted to Head of Bond Management for Emerging Markets. He will be supported by Fiona Cheung, who is now director of research for the same segment. Until now, she has managed credit activities for Asia excluding Japan. Joseph Huang was promoted to director of bond research in South Asia.
In the United States, Don Tucker is now director of bond research for developed markets. Nick Pena, a senior US bond market analyst, has been promoted to sector leader in the bond research team for emerging markets.
