During the Thursday episode of Gf Vip, Alfonso Signorini wanted to dedicate a moment to one of the protagonists of this edition: Manuel Bortuzzo.
Manuel Bortuzzo said that the life of a disabled person is a life of shit but that is still worth living.
The path of Manuel Bortuzzo
During the live broadcast of Gf Vip on Thursday evening, Alfonso Signorini wanted to interview one of the protagonists of this edition of the reality show: Manuel Bortuzzo. His path to Gf Vip has been very special, ever since he made his entrance through the red door. The former swimmer, who ended up in a wheelchair due to an accident, immediately showed his desire to establish himself as a person and not as a disabled person.
Manuel Bortuzzo gave the audience moments of emotion, romantic and fun. In fact, he is a boy full of life, despite the fact that that same life has beaten him due to a fatality. Those who have followed the reality show from the beginning will remember the moment when Manuel, supported by his roommates and a walker, managed to stand up and walk, albeit with great difficulty, around the house.
The romantic moments, on the other hand, were due to hers love story with Lulu from which, however, at a certain point of his journey in the house, he had decided to distance himself. The playful moments were due to his great self-irony. A character who will remain in the hearts of viewers and who, certainly, will still be talked about. The boy, in fact, wants to pursue a Paralympic career.
How much do you take from your disability pension
During the interview, Signorini touched with Bortuzzo some sensitive topics. For example, she asked him if she is capable of making love or being able to have children. Without embarrassment, Bortuzzo replied that the physical act is possible for him but he cannot conceive naturally except with the help of artificial insemination. Surely, with Lulu, he will want to have children in the future and, apparently, she knows it and is not frightened by this impediment.
Another hot topic was that of the disability pension. Like many other disabled people in Italy, in fact, the fee amounts to just over 200 euros per month, to which is added that for the accompaniment. A very poor figure if you consider all the expenses that a disabled person has to face such as, for example, physiotherapy or medicines.
Of course, Manuel said he was a very lucky boy, despite living in a wheelchair, because he had the opportunity to participate in the program and, therefore, save a lot of money.
