The SD Compostela has announced the signing of the striker Manu Barreirocoming from CD Lugo. The player born in Santiago had been with the Lugo club for 5 seasons, in which he played 160 games scoring 31 goals. Furthermore, during the last stretch he was one of the team captains.
At 36 years old, Barreiro arrives at his hometown club after having played for several Galician teams such as Cerceda, Pontevedra o Ferrol Racing and many other Spanish ones (Algeciras, Cádiz, Jerez, Zamora, Deportivo Alavés or Gimnastic de Tarragona). He thus has a lot of experience in both the Second Division and the 2nd RFEF, having scored 129 goals throughout his career in addition to giving 19 assists.
