To replace Ashford Golden, Hyères-Toulon (NM1) brought in Mantvydas Staniulis as leader.
Suite from Ashford giltHyères-Toulon Var Basket has signed the Lithuanian leader Mantvydas Staniulis (1.86m, 25 years old). The latter will thus discover a new basketball, after having always played in the Lithuanian championship (first or second division) as well as in Estonia, with Kalev Tallinn, during part of the 2020-2021 season. Since then he has evolved into Prienai as well as Jonava in this first part of the season (2.5 points and 0.6 assists in 10 minutes over eight games).
It will be eagerly awaited by new coach Zoran Durdevicwho is hoping for a quick fourth win, as his team started the year with a defeat against the Orchids then another face in Cergy-Pontoise. HTV is 14th and last in group B of NM1 with 3 wins and 15 defeats.
