The attacker, a 29 year old from Nigeria, is said to be homeless
The 38-year-old irregular immigrant is the man attacked by the ax-born non-EU citizen. He is hospitalized in Castiglione hospital where he was medicated for a wound in his left forearm, hit with the handle of the ax by the Nigerian. The prognosis is 20 days; his conditions are not of concern.
According to what the 38-year-old told the carabinieri, he happened to pass by chance when the Nigerian attacked him. To protect his face, he raised his left arm and was hit by the blow with the ax handle. The 29-year-old Nigerian accused of massacre would be irregular and homeless. The man would have reached Castiglione from nearby Desenzano del Garda (Brescia).
