BORGO VIRGILIO. A 50-year-old woman is admitted to the hospital in serious condition due to trauma suffered following the fall of the wasp on which she was traveling with her husband. According to preliminary information, the cause of the fall was a failure that caused the vehicle to stop in full swing.
The accident occurred on the provincial road between Romanore and Cappelletta shortly before seven on Thursday evening. The woman, wearing a helmet, hit her head violently on the asphalt. To the rescuers sent by 118 her conditions immediately appeared serious and for this reason the helicopter rescue was activated.
The carabinieri were also on site.
