Good from stranger to stranger. After a post on social media about a missing dog and a cash reward for the finder, a man from Svoge found and returned the pet to a family from Sofia and refused the money.
The American bully pocket entered the life of Todor Petrov and his family a year and a half ago.
“It’s like a child, part of the family. If you already have it, it’s part of you,” he said.
A lost dog traveled 380 km to get home
“He is a faithful friend, whenever I feel sad, he comes and kisses my hand,” said Teodora Petrova.
“While we are lying down, he comes and lies down on top of us and goes to fuck us,” said Ivaylo Petrov.
After a night walk, Todor does not find Bart by his side.
“I open the car to get cigarettes. I close the car. Here a dog, there a dog, it’s gone. One circle, second circle, the dog is gone,” declared Todor Petrov.
Bart’s owners put a message on Facebook and groups for lost animals, and announce a BGN 1,000 reward for whoever finds him.
A day later, Todor was contacted by a person who had found Bart in Svoge. He refuses the money, returns the dog and requests anonymity.
“I thanked everyone very much,” Todor said.
