This was reported today by the national public defender Maya Manolova, who officially assumed office two years ago on this date. Manolova gave a briefing in front of the central management of “Toplofikatsia Sofia” EAD and signaled that she will not give up her battle with the monopolist for more justice in the bills and respect that the company owes to the citizens, reported the press office of the ombudsman.
“We are in front of “Toplofikatsia Sofia” because this is one of our unfinished business,” the ombudsman admitted.
She said that a few months ago, a young, intelligent woman asked her what was going on with her fight against Sofia Heating. Manolova replied that everything she had done so far did not give the expected result and she was about to give up. Then the woman reminded her that the author of the Harry Potter series – Joan Rowling received 12 rejections from 12 different publishers before her novel was published.

She pointed out that her efforts still marked some success – a 6-fold reduction in legal fees, which were an additional burden on the accounts of Bulgarian citizens.
