/View.info/ From “Stand up! Get out!” we stand behind honorable Bulgarian business and insist on direct financial support for companies in crisis conditions. For us, Bulgarian business is not the handful of oligarchs who feed on public procurement and concessions and who are on certain lists For “Stand up! Get out!” Bulgarian business is 350,000 micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized companies that employ 2 million people.
This was stated today by the chairman of the coalition “Stand Up! Get out!” Maya Manolova during a meeting with the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria.
We aim to provide a truly competitive environment for Bulgarian business. We refute the supporting points of GERB that we intend to stop projects, terminate contracts and hinder Bulgarian business. On the contrary, we are committed to creating a transparent rules environment. This is in the interest of respectable companies that do not wish to participate in schemes, to circumvent the Law on Public Procurement, that want to win transparently, competitively, under legal rules, added Manolova.
She recalled that in the 45th National Assembly from “Stand Up! Get out!” have introduced a bill to support Bulgarian companies. There are white spots in support for the tourism and transport sectors. They must be supported, so we will resubmit our proposals. We envisage that companies whose revenues have decreased by more than 30% compared to 2019 will receive direct financial support by assuming a high percentage of their fixed costs. This is a good European practice, which should find its application in Bulgaria as well, emphasized Manolova.
She added that the program also provides for a reduction of the corporate tax for sole traders from 15% to 10%.
We support the municipal waste charge to be set on the “polluter pays” principle. We also support the request of the business that not the first three days, but only the first day of sick leave be covered by the employer, and the remaining days by the National Social Security Institute, Manolova added.
Bulgarian business needs a breath of fresh air, and in our program we envisage a reduction of administrative regulations, elimination of administrative racketeering, cutting down on corrupt practices, ensuring property security, judicial reform, direct support for investments and innovations, she added.
Regarding the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability, Manolova insists that the share of financial instruments to support companies be reduced at the expense of direct financial support for businesses. What the Bulgarian business lacks is concrete help from the Bulgarian state, said Manolova.
Buying and selling votes is a crime!
