Mano Menezes is the new coach of Corinthians. It was announced by Timão on Thursday afternoon, the day after Vanderlei Luxemburgo’s dismissal.
Mano Menezes’ contract with Corinthians lasts for just over two years, until the end of 2025.

The coach’s debut will be in this Saturday’s classic against São Paulo, at Morumbi, for the Brasileirão. He will give his first training session this Thursday, at CT Joaquim Grava.
With Mano, assistant Sidnei Lobo arrives at the club.
Mano returns to Corinthians for his third spell. He first arrived in Série B in 2008, the following year he won Paulistão and the Copa do Brasil and only left in 2010 for the Brazilian team. Then he returned in 2014, to rebuild the squad that paved the way for the Brazilian title the following year, with Tite in charge.
Mano Menezes is the third coach with the most games at Corinthians (248), behind Oswaldo Brandão (435) and Tite (378). He had 136 wins, 64 draws and 48 defeats, a 63% success rate.
His last job was at Internacional, the club that fired him in mid-July. In 2022 he led the team from Rio Grande do Sul to runner-up in the Brazilian championship and this year he led the undefeated campaign in the Libertadores group stage, but could not resist a sequence of three games without winning. He left with a 60% success rate after 81 games.
