There is a difference in the amount of memory, and since this is the only difference in the name, this implies that it is also the only difference in the spec. Just like a 64GB iPhone 12 and a 128GB iPhone 12.

One could easily have added a letter or other indicator to indicate that this is a different product, with not only less memory but also tighter bandwidth. A 3060 Light, a 3050 Ti, you name it.

With the now deleted 12GB 4080, the actual specs were much more different than the “real” 4080, and deleting it shows how many people thought it was misleading. Nvidia has already admitted this and hopefully they will do something about this little deception with the 60s as well.

Nvidia just made too much money thanks to the crown and cryptocurrencies, and is now making great strides to maintain that revenue at very different times. It is almost impossible to do this without deception and madness. So let’s focus on that.
