A cricket match is being organized at Kochi Park Away Turf Ground as part of the promotion of Manju Warrier’s film Ayesha, which is about to release on January 20. Singer Manjari, film star Krishna Shankar, lyricist Harinarayanan and other main stars and behind-the-scenes workers of the film will be on the ground in two teams under Manju Warrier and music director M Jayachandran. Live telecast of the match presented by My G will be available on webstreaming.in YouTube channel.
Produced by Zakaria under the banner of Cross Border Camera and directed by debutant Aamir Pallikal, the film is scripted by Ashif Kakodi. The film is co-produced by Harris Desam, PB Anish, Shamsuddeen Mankarathodi, Zakaria Vavad and Bineesh Chandran under the banners Imagine Cinemas, Feathertech Movie Box, Last Exit Cinemas and Movie Bucket and is distributed by Magic Frames Release.
Ayesha, the first Malayalam film to be released in Malayalam and Arabic, is also the highest budget film of Manju Warrier’s career. The song Kannil Kannil choreographed by Prabhu Deva and the trailer of the film went viral on social media earlier.
