A police check gone wrong. This Wednesday, April 19, in New York (United States), an impressive chase took place in the streets of Midtown in Manhattan, between the police and a black Cadillac. The driver of the car injured a policeman in the head by backing up violently on him, before extricating himself from the roadblock. According to local media, the officer is in stable condition. In his escape, the driver also crossed a restaurant terrace, swinging tables and chairs. A road sign and a fire hydrant that were in its path were also torn down.
The vehicle was eventually found by law enforcement a few blocks away. But without the driver, who fled on foot after his airbag was triggered. The police suspect that the Cadillac’s license plate is fake. The driver is currently being actively sought by the police.
