After the spectacle last year went on stage without an audience due to the corona pandemic, this time the audience was again able to be there in Manhattan – but with capacity limits. Music stars such as Carrie Underwood, Rob Thomas and Norah Jones appeared on the show, which was also televised live, on Wednesday evening (local time). The lighting of the lights on the tree in front of Rockefeller Center, which has been celebrated annually since the early 1930s, is one of the most popular New York Christmas traditions. This year’s tree is a 25 meter high spruce from the state of Maryland. At the top of the tree sits a 400 kilogram star by star designer Daniel Libeskind. Previously, the German artist Michael Hammers was responsible for the star for many years. dpa – Related posts:“America is back”: the United States back in business in the 1980sCommunication: Henrik Bokoko received by the minister, government spokesperson - AGPGovernor Cuomo of New York submits pension application, after ...'LLYLM' sets the tempo as Rosalía unveils the Motomamis beverage Video: the body of a young man is taken out of the coffin to say goodbye with a motorcycle ride – Latin America – International Fastest corona outbreak ever in South Africa due to omikron variant Leave a Comment Cancel replyCommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
