Mango Expands in the U.S.: Opening 15 Stores in Cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, & More

One year after the inauguration of its flagship on Fifth Avenue in New York, Mango wants to strengthen its presence in the United States and accelerate its expansion process in the country. This year, the Spanish brand will settle in cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Atlanta.

By 2024, Mango’s goal is to reach around 40 points of sale in the United States in order to make the country one of its top five markets in terms of turnover. In total, more than fifteen stores are planned for 2023, particularly in the west and south of the country. For the first time, Mango will open stores in the states of Georgia, Texas and California.

In the state of Texas, the company will open stores in malls such as The Shops at La Cantera (San Antonio), Galleria Dallas (Dallas), La Plaza Mall (McAllen), Memorial City Mall (Houston) and Baybrook Mall (Houston), among others. In California, Mango will set up shop in the Glendale Galleria (Glendale) and Fashion Valley (San Diego) shopping centers, as well as in shopping centers in the city of Los Angeles: Brea Mall, Victoria Gardens, Los Cerritos and Beverly Center.

All these new stores will only offer the Mango Woman collections. The store located in the State of Georgia, in the Perimeter Mall (Atlanta), will be the only one to offer the women’s and men’s lines, in a space of 570 square meters.

It was in 2006 that Mango arrived on the American market. The company has strengthened its commitment there with the renovation of the SoHo store and with the agreement reached with Macy’s in 2019 to promote online growth. In 2021, Mango launched four stores in New Jersey, New York and Miami. In April 2022, the brand added its homeware line (Mango Home) to its website. In May, it begins its expansion plan in the United States with the opening of the flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York and three openings in Florida. Mango ends 2022 with 10 stores in the United States, where it is also present online via its Mango.com site and the Nordstrom and Macy’s marketplaces.
