Mangarov protested against COVID vaccines and restrictive measures

ABC announced that it will appeal the order, which gives retail outlets the right to work at full capacity, if employees and visitors are immunized.

Opponents of the Covid-19 vaccination and citizens dissatisfied with the restrictive measures against the coronavirus gathered to protest in the garden in front of the National Palace of Culture. The protest began at 4.30 pm, when dissatisfied citizens, who initially numbered about a hundred, began to gather.

It is attended by the parties ABV and Vazrazhdane, as well as non-governmental organizations.

The demonstrators claim that the vaccines are experimental and demand that the immunized receive monetary compensation, demanding a meeting with the Minister of Health. The demands are not to impose mandatory vaccines on them and not to discriminate and separate vaccinated and unvaccinated and what they can use as public benefits. Dissatisfied people also oppose distance learning and wearing masks.

ABV announced that it will appeal the order, which gives retail outlets the right to work at full capacity, if employees and visitors are vaccinated, sick or have a negative PCR test.

One of the leaders of the protest is Assoc. Prof. Atanas Mangarov, who in the previous elections appeared as a candidate from ABV. Earlier, he wrote on Facebook:

“On Monday (August 30), we are organizing a peaceful march against compulsory vaccination. Immunization must be a personal choice, not a fascist rhetoric.”

From the pylons in front of the National Palace of Culture, the protest marched along Vitoshka Street to stop in front of the Ministry of Health, then in front of the Ministry of Education and Science and briefly in front of the presidency.

After that, the procession will head to the building of the National Assembly, where a large protest is planned from 19.00.
