LONDON ∙ Marlibon Cricket Club (MCC), cricket’s law-making and reform body, has reiterated that ‘mangading’ run-outs are a fair form of dismissal. Mankading bowlers are not villains. Non-strikers are breaking the law here – MCC said.
Mankading, which runs out a non-striker who leaves the crease before the ball is released, was legalized by the MCC last year. There is also a move to implement Mankading in all categories of cricket matches.
