When entering Hamburg from a foreign corona risk area, people have had to undergo mandatory testing since Saturday. The Hanseatic city is thus implementing a corresponding federal-state resolution, as announced by the social welfare authority.
Hamburg has a new corona regulation as of today: anyone who comes to the city from a risk area must take a corona test immediately and then go into quarantine for ten days. The quarantine can be shortened by a further test after five days at the earliest. The travelers have to bear the costs of the tests themselves. In Hamburg there are no exceptions for people who have been vaccinated or who have already had a corona disease.
