Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes Reacts to Mason Mount Joining the Club

Bruno Fernandes respond to joining Mason Mount the Manchester United. Fernandes greeted Mount with a bit of ‘annoyance’.

MU announced the transfer of Mason Mount on Wednesday (5/7) afternoon WIB. The Red Devils have tied Mount to a contract until 2028, with an option for a year’s extension.

A number of MU players welcomed Mount’s arrival via uploads on their respective social media. One of them is Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes uploaded a photo showing himself tugging on Mount’s shirt. The photo was taken during MU’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford last year.

“Why is it taking so long?” Fernandes joked on his Instagram stories, adding an angry face emoji.

“Welcome @masonmount,” he added.

MU does need a few weeks to complete the transfer of Mount. The bid submitted by MU was rejected by Chelsea three times.

MU and Chelsea finally agreed on Mount’s transfer. The 24-year-old midfielder was released to MU for a transfer value of £55 million plus £5 million in bonuses.
