Manchester –
Amid its inconsistencies, Manchester United Watching the match is very crucial Bayern Munich. Erik ten Hag believes his team is capable of beating anyone.
Manchester United is waiting for a super important match against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford, Wednesday (13/12/2023) early morning WIB, on Matchday 6 Liga Champions. This is MU’s last chance to survive in the competition.
Occupying the bottom of Group A with four points, MU must win over Bayern. That is also with the hope that FC Copenhagen vs Galatasaray, who both have five points, will end without a winner.
But before talking about hopes of qualifying, MU needs to ensure three points first. Beating Bayern will certainly not be easy, considering that their opponents have not been defeated in the Champions League this season.
MU itself is still mediocre in its performance, even being beaten by Bournemouth 0-3 at home in the Premier League last weekend. MU will need to hope that Bayern will have difficulty recovering from their crushing 1-5 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt headquarters.
MU manager Erik ten Hag admitted that his team was still uncertain. The last 10 matches have been played with only four wins, one draw and five losses.
But Ten Hag believes his team just hasn’t found its true level of performance.
“We are not consistent, but we have good performances. If our spirit is right, we can beat anyone,” he was quoted as saying BBC.
“The matches against Chelsea, Everton, Galatasaray give me hope. I know this team can reach a very high level,” he added.
