Bola.net – Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole expressed his support for the Red Devils to bring in Karim Benzema to strengthen their front line.
Manchester United is looking for a player in the striker position in the January 2024 transfer market. Manager Erik ten Hag wants to break the deadlock in his front line.
So far there have been several strikers linked with Manchester United. One of them is French striker Karim Benzema who is currently pursuing a career in the Saudi Arabian League.
Benzema moved to Al Ittihad in the summer of 2023. However, the former Real Madrid player reportedly does not feel at home in Saudi Arabia and wants to return to Europe.

MU Must Recruit Benzema
Manchester United has been heavily linked with Karim Benzema recently. Andy Cole is very supportive if his former team signs Benzema from Al Ittihad.
“150%. I would sign him if it was just for training sessions,” Cole said Betfred.
“I was very surprised when he left Real Madrid in the summer, but I understand why it happened. The money he made in Saudi Arabia is generational wealth. This is for his children and his children’s children.
“When you’re at that age in your career and you’ve won four La Liga titles, five Champions League trophies and the Ballon d’Or, I can understand why he went to Saudi.”

Can be successful in the Premier League
Karim Benzema is currently 36 years old. Even though he is no longer young, Andy Cole feels very confident that Benzema can be successful in his career in the Premier League.
“Can he be successful in the Premier League at his age? “100% considering how he takes care of himself,” he continued.
“If Manchester United have the opportunity to sign him, then they should definitely try to make it happen.”
