Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford survived a traffic accident in his Rolls Royce after leaving the club’s training ground on Saturday evening.
The British news agency, PA, reported that the incident occurred after the Manchester United star returned to the Carrington Stadium designated for training, following the 1-0 victory over Burnley in the English Premier League.
The players returned to the training field on the team bus to leave in their private cars for their homes. The player was not injured in the accident.
Pictures and footage posted on the Internet following the accident showed that the white Rolls Royce that Rashford was driving was damaged as a result of the accident.
Rashford posted a photo on Instagram on Sunday afternoon, accompanying it with a comment saying: “I’m fine, guys, thanks for the messages.”
According to British media, the “Red Devils” star collided with a car driven by a 74-year-old woman.
The police who arrived at the scene did not arrest anyone. The ambulance was not called because the driver said she did not want to go to the hospital.
