LONDON, 5th August, 2020 (WAM) — Manchester United Football Club officially announced today that it has signed Danish striker Rasmus Hollund from the Italian team, Atalanta, with a contract that extends for 5 seasons, with a clause in the contract that allows for extension for another season.
Hollund, 20, scored 27 goals in 87 matches with the clubs he played for, including 10 goals with Atalanta in various tournaments last season, and scored 6 goals in 6 matches he played with the Danish national team.
“I’ve been a fan of this great club since I was young, and I’ve dreamed of entering Old Trafford as a Manchester United player… very excited about this opportunity to turn that dream into reality,” Hollund said in statements on the Manchester United website.
